The Shoreline Lake Forest Park (LFP) Lacrosse Club was founded in Shoreline, Washington in 2012 by Steve Weaver, a native of the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York, to bring youth and high school lacrosse from the shores of the Puget Sound to the banks of Lake Washington. Recognized as Shorecrest by the Washington High School Boys Lacrosse Association (WHSBLA) since 2013, the Varsity team consists of student athletes primarily from Shorecrest High School and Shorewood High School, and competes as a part of the WESCO Conference.
After folding in 2017, the program reemerged in 2019, and serves both K-12 Boys and Girls programs.

We hoisted and recognized all of our Seniors individually for a special night and then put on a show for a big conference win. Thanks to everybody for coming out and supporting these fine and upstanding gentlemen!
Thanks for the photos Ellen, Matt and Sara!

Back to back conference wins to end the regular season with the homies, including Senior Night, resulting in our first Division 1 winning season since 2014. LFG!

⚡️SENIOR SPOTLIGHT⚡️
Jacob Ingalsbe- Captain - Attack - # 14
Shorewood High School
After showcasing heart and grit towards the end of the 2025 season, Jacob was named Captain heading into his 7th season, all with Shoreline. He took this position seriously and worked hard in the offseason to drastically improve his individual skills. Jacob is a tough nosed player who has a knack for getting demolished both with the ball and without. He scores with regularity but is usually having to peel himself up off the floor. However, he gets a kick out of it and still has the will to enter dangerous areas without hesitation.
He will play whatever position you ask of him without question, and makes the overall team a better all around squad. He has taken a leadership role with the attack and is an enthusiastic player who always remains positive in his interactions. Jacob’s work ethic and good natured personality will no doubt create solid opportunities down the road.

⚡️SENIOR SPOTLIGHT⚡️
Ben Markwardt- 2x Captain - LSM - # 13 - Sholax 5/6 Coach
Shorewood High School
Ben began his lacrosse journey in the 4th grade at North Seattle Blackfish with Coach Soko, Kai Sokolowski and Cameron Mulder, and they all shifted over to Shoreline together two years later. Ben, who can run for days and has a nose for the ball, had a brief stint with Cityside and is the Sholax Career Ground Ball leader by a wide margin. He leads this year’s team in that same category as well as Caused Turnovers. He also is one of our 5/6 coaches and has really found his voice as a leader for both teams.
A 2nd-Team WESCO All-Conference recipient last year, Ben looks to close out his high school career by continuing his dominance in transition, and helping our team fortify time of possession. He is a super chill and mellow guy who makes his presence known by attacking chaos with ferocity head on, but whose laugh is a gas.
His curious nature and work ethic will take him to interesting places both near and far.
