FOUNDED IN 2012

Reestablished in 2019

The Shoreline Lake Forest Park (LFP) Lacrosse Club was founded in Shoreline, Washington in 2012 by Steve Weaver, a native of the Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York, to bring youth and high school lacrosse from the shores of the Puget Sound to the banks of Lake Washington. Recognized as Shorecrest by the Washington High School Boys Lacrosse Association (WHSBLA) since 2013, the Varsity team consists of student athletes primarily from Shorecrest High School and Shorewood High School, and competes as a part of the WESCO Conference.

After folding in 2017, the program reemerged in 2019, and serves both K-12 Boys and Girls programs.

Gritty, at times brutal, lacrosse is a game of will, determination and creativity.

Zero flags btw 🤷‍♂️

With Fall Ball on the horizon we must go back and give gratitude to all those before us that have contributed towards us being able to play this great sport since folding as a program in 2017. This especially holds true for our fearless Captain and leader of the past three seasons, Pearse Kelly, class of ’24. He gained the constant respect of his team and opponents for his tenacity and physical prowess. His coaches saw immense leadership qualities in the whole of his interactions with teammates, both at practice and on game day, and he held his teams to a high standard regardless of the score or our record. While he will be sorely missed, he has helped pave a way for the future of Shoreline lacrosse, instilled leadership qualities into our next generation, and his legacy will most certainly live on…[Extended version in our bio]

Pearse finished his career with the 2nd most points and goals in Sholax history, and was a 2024 and 2023 1st team All WESCO selection, and a 2022 2nd team selection.

K-12 Youth and High School boys and girls should consider coming out this Fall and learning the ropes  with a program on the rise - no experience required. Visit shorelinelacrosse.org for more info, and High School Registration will be open in the near future.
