After a scoreless first quarter, Shorecrest put in four unanswered to end the half up 4-0. Meadowdale got on board in the second half but could not overcome the amazing performance of Shorecrest’s goalie, Payten Brooks-Neal, who had 17 saves in the game. It was by far the best goalie work seen by Meadowdale this year.

Meadowdale was led in scoring by senior midfielder Justin Holter with 2 goals and 6 ground balls. The third goal was scored by defender Niko May after winning a faceoff. Goalie Conner Daniel made 4 saves.

Shorecrest was led in scoring by Briggan Weaver with 3 assists and 3 ground balls. Ian Prieve, Ethan Jensen, and Thor Hatton scored two goals each. It was the 17 saves by goalie Peyton Brooks-Neal that really made the day.
