LYNNWOOD (WA) – Shoreline 18, Meadowdale 7.
Shorecrest came out swinging netting 4 unanswered goals in the first 4 1/2 minutes. The Chiefs put up 2 before the end of the first, but Briggan Weaver’s 4 unassisted goals in the 2nd quarter helped extend the lead to 10-3 by halftime. Meadowdale’s Charlie Baillargeon and Shane Hayes combined for a pair in the 3rd while Shorecrest scored 4 more unassisted goals by 4 different shooters. At the end of the 3rd quarter, Shorecrest scored 14 goals on 32 shots. 3 more Weaver solo goals in the 4th quarter within a minute and a half helped cap off Shorecrest’s dominant performance.
Meadowdale’s goalie Conner Daniel made 18 saves in 3 quarters (some of them completely amazing) while Dominic Spino added 4 more stops in the 4th. Peyton Brooks Neil put up 13 saves on the day for Shorecrest.
