Meadowdale started strong with a 4-0 lead in the first quarter but Shorecrest came back for a scoring battle down to the last few seconds. The game ended with a few seconds on the clock when the lights turned out during play, but the boys all pulled together to maintain good order on the field for the final handshake. This was a well fought match between two new but talented teams. In the end, Shorecrest held on to a 1 point lead for the win.

Shorecrest was led by E. Jensen with 6 goals, 1 assist, and 6 ground balls. B. Weaver added 3 goals, an assist, and 7 ground balls. For Meadowdale, Jordan Tindall and Charlie Baillargeon each put in 5 goals and an assist. Meadowdale goalie Conner Daniel made 10 saves while Shorecrest’s goalie marked 13 stops.
