Pearse Kelly ’24 had the opportunity to play at the 2022 World Lacrosse Men’s U-21 Championship at the University of Limerick in Limerick, Ireland. Specifically, Pearse played for Team Eire/Ireland in the Festival Division, and competed against many current Division I and Division III players, as well as international teams from around the globe.
While there, Team USA captured the Championship Division gold medal in a thrilling contest over Team Canada 12-10, and the Haudenosaunee won the bronze medal over Team Australia. A record 23 national teams were in attendance, the largest ever age group staged by World Lacrosse.
Way to represent Shoreline internationally Pearse!
